If you are ever in South East Queensland, Lamington National Park is a must see. Never mind Surfer’s Paradise, it’s a tourist trap dump. Lamington is an absolutely beautiful world heritage site with 160km (100 miles) of very easy, graded trails through very rugged terrain covered by jungle. It’s spectacular.

At Binna Burra there is a lodge and campground. It’s a great place to stay for a couple of days and the restaurant in the lodge serves up good straight ahead food in cosy surrounds.

All very nice!
