All The Dumb Things

A cautionary tale in development

Spring has sprung!

Posted by razzbuffnik on September 29th, 2008

Spring has well and truly sprung. It’s almost like someone just flipped a switch. One day it’s cold, overcast and windy and suddenly the next day is clear and hot. The weather has been so glorious that my wife and I spent last weekend pottering around in the garden planting new plants (mainly Australian natives as they’re much more hardy and require far less water) and re-oiling our outdoor furniture.

Our godess of the garden

Although our back yard is very small, we have over the years made it into a very nice place sit and relax. My idea of heaven is to sit outside in the morning with my wife and read the weekend paper together then do a bit of gardening during the day to be followed by a barbeque at night. As a matter of fact that’s just what we did. On Saturday night we had the neighbours over to help us eat some barbequed and smoked loin of pork and knock over several bottles of wine whilst chilling out to Gabin

Ahhh…. life can be so good!

Oh, yes, it is spring time down under. I keep forgeting, every single year, that not every part of the world has the same seasons as in Europe. And here, our summer has ended and the temperatures are going downhill. At least the days are not too short yet.

My Gnomes would really like her! Yowza!

I love your garden gnome. She’s something else!
Wish spring had sprung this side of the globe. Cold, grey and rainy here. Enjoy the sunshine!

So that’s where our sun is hiding these days. Love your gnome, in the place where I now live, there are so many around (local fetish, apparently) that I think we should have a separate official census for them, perhaps even make them pay taxes. But none is as sexy as this one. Better watch her good. BTW, did you see the movie Amelie?

Spring and Autumn are my favourite times years. The temperate is just right. Not too hot and not too cold.

Gnomes(as in multiples there of)! What kind of girl do you think she is? Just because she doesn’t wear very much clothing doesn’t mean she wants to get involved in some kind of group thing.

Glad you like the gnome. It was given to me by Mai Long.

The sun has made a sudden and hot appearance around these parts lately. I’ll have to check out Slovenian gnomes when I visit next year. Yes I’ve seen the movie Amelie and I’ll make sure I keep my back yard locked up. Then again if someone were to take my gnome around the world I would’nt mind, as long as I got here back. It would be good for her.

That gnome is properly hideous. As it should be.

My nephew was some sort of Grand Poobah for the Front of Liberation of Garden Gnomes (Belgian faction)and I have no doubt this one would have been released promptly in the great Foret de Soignes. I think drugs may have been involved.
