Heavens, the sky, the sky! So incredibly blue. I love the angles of these shots; they could be used as an exercise in perspective.

White, blue, yellow. I wonder what living here would do to your color sense?

We’ve been so lucky with the weather. The day started so overcast but when we got to Ronda it all cleared up.

It’s funny, although I really like the Spanish and Spain I think that they are bit culturally moribund. Both my wife and I have speculated to what would happen if someone was to paint their house a different colour. Mobs with burning torches perhaps?

I suspect that there is probably some some kind of heritage law to make sure things stay attractive for the tourists.

Or to protect them from themselves – you have undoubtedly noted “colorfoul” facades on some of the new houses in Slovenia :(

I think you could be right.

It amazes me that in such plces there can be such a carelss atittude to the way how things are done without a thought to how it looks. In Spain it is the wiring. I can’t tell you how many bueatiful old buildings with amazing facades have been defaced with ugly wiring that is plonked on with what seems to be deliberate sloppiness.

    Any humans there?

Yes but it was siesta time when I was there. The locals were all inside hiding from the hoard of us tourists, poor things.
