I ran across this photo slide show of the weather in Europe. The first slide was a cyclist in Amsterdam which reminded me of your post during your trip. You might enjoy seeing what cycling in Amsterdam looks like in the middle of winter.

Great photo. These old gals have orange scarves, an orange bag and orange buildings in the background. And the one with the purple blouse even has orange hair!

    Thanks.

What struck me was how finely dressed they were.

D’oh! Razz, you have totally been caught by the one on the left!

I think the one on the left may be recovering from a wee bit of a hangover. Not unlike New Year Celebrations overlooking Sydney Harbor? Happy New Year and all that jazz, Professor Buffnik! I miss your traveling so I decided to scan my father’s slides and mine when I lived in Europe. Photography for Shut-Ins…that’s me.

Yep, that’s for sure! I doesn’t help that a little red light shines when I take a shot.

Funny you should mention the fireworks over sydney harbour. I went to a friend’s place to watch them this year.

As sharp as I am, I’m not that sharp. In one of your comments somewhere I think I read that was your New Year’s Eve plan!
