Mumford and Sons – Little Lion Man

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear?
Didn’t I, my…
Tremble for yourself, my man,
You know that you have seen this all before
Tremble Little Lion Man,
You’ll never settle any of your scores
Your grace is wasted in your face,
Your boldness stands alone among the wreck
Now learn from your mother or else spend your days biting your own neck
But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear? (x2)
Didn’t I, my dear?
Ahhhhh……
But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear? (x2)
Didn’t I, my dear?

Thank God, a new post, a new image. But, I’m afraid to listen to the song. The printed lyrics are powerful enough. Gulp. You feelin’ ok?

That settles it. I’ve looked and looked at this album. Heard it beckoning from the shelf. And now, I must have it. Lovely . . .

Be brave and let go of the edge of the swimming pool and come for a swim. Bye the way I’m fine and thanks for asking. We’ve just recieved our lastest order of CDs (Engogirl picks out about 10 or 15 at a time) from Amazon and I was playing this in the car for the first time, the other day, and it blew me away.
Give it a listen, it’s great.
Brian
It’s a great album and I’ve posted another song (in the next post)from another band for you that I think is worthwhile checking out.
