When I looked at this photo it made me think of the ocean, although there is no ocean visible. Very blue: striking colours.
Beautiful colors. There are many of these old towns that the Portuguese have sort of preserved as a piece of living history, as in people still live there… Some can be a bit touristy, but are still worth the visit to imagine a much earlier way of life.

The colours are like those in Greece and Morocco. The wasn’t very far away.
