  1. Beautiful colors. There are many of these old towns that the Portuguese have sort of preserved as a piece of living history, as in people still live there… Some can be a bit touristy, but are still worth the visit to imagine a much earlier way of life.

    The colours are like those in Greece and Morocco. The wasn’t very far away.


    The colours and the light were so bright. You’re right about such towns being touristy and we didn’t stick around for long.
