  1. That chap is indeed AWESOME. Scary, too. Wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark alley. I’m also a bit concerned about the interests on the cvs of people who enjoy attending their local Russian knife fighting club on Tuesday nights. Could read like this: INTERESTS – Reading, rock climbing, Russian knife fighting… Not sure I’d call them in for interview!

  2. I’d say the guy in the photo has been the victim of violence more than a perpetrator of it. He looks like he might’ve been institutionalised at some stage and he doesn’t look like much of a real threat to me. That’s what you get for eating such crappy bread!

I was amazed to find so many knife fighting videos and people offering courses in it. There are some really screwed up people out there and unfortunately I’ve met some of them.

  3. It frightens me to even THINK about knife fighting! It’s a good look on him though.
Sorry, couldn’t bring myself to watch the video.

  4. I look at it this way: Your mission in life is to meet people who live on the margins and then come back and tell us about them, usually with a touch of kindness and compassion, and then we end up seeing that we might be a little like these margin people, too.

  5. I’ve been doing some house maintenance and slacking off. It’s spring here so I’ve been getting the back yard with the outdoor furniture and upstairs decking ready (needed re-oiling etc).

Just bought a bunch of new plants today so it’s gardening this weekend.
